Today, the most successful team in baseball history, the New York Yankees, mourn one of their own. 
After suffering a heart attack, Yankees owner George Steinbrenner died 6:30 a.m. this morning in Tampa, Florida just 9 days after he celebrated his 80th birthday.Whether you are a Yankee fan or a Mets fan, a New Yorker, or from New Jersey, the death of Steinbrenner is unexpected and sad, and on this day we pay tribute to him.
